We have opportunities for experienced hospitality/QSR Managers to join the Aromi family. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with people, has a passion for great food and coffee, and is ready to take on a key role in running our cafés, supporting our teams, and ensuring every customer enjoys an exceptional Aromi experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To manage all aspects of the running of the café: preparing the weekly rota, opening and closing the shop, operating the till, maintaining stock levels, dealing with complaints, being responsible for cashing up and banking, completing all relevant procedures

  • To provide direct line management support, training and supervision to staff members − To recruit staff members, making sure the right number of people is available according to business needs

  • To provide induction training to new starters and to develop a motivated and high performing team

  • To ensure a high level of health and safety, cleanliness and food hygiene and to ensure that safe working practices are followed

  • To make sure that food and drinks are prepared and served consistently to the highest quality possible, according to Aromi’s standards, and to make sure customers are satisfied

  • To adhere to existing working practices, methods, procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and to respond positively to new and alternative systems

  • To lead by example, creating a nice working environment where all staff members are empowered to give feedback and to challenge the status quo

Duties and Responsibilities:

Restaurant Management:

  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.

  • Manage and train front-of-house and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, striving to exceed guest expectations.

  • Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships.

Pasta Chef Duties:

  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality pasta dishes according to established recipes and standards.

  • Oversee the preparation and cooking of all pasta-related dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.

  • Maintain an organized and clean kitchen, following food safety guidelines.

  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service.

  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, sharing knowledge and techniques related to pasta preparation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager and a strong background in Italian cuisine would be preferential

  • Exceptional culinary skills, particularly in pasta preparation and cooking.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in the food service industry, including Food Safety Levels 2 and 3

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.

We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to join our team. Role and responsibilities:

  • To deliver the best coffee experience to every guest, along with the highest levels of customer service.

  • To prepare and serve drinks and food to the highest possible quality, operate the till, maintain stock levels, and use your product knowledge to advise and make suggestions to customers.

  • To assist in the serving of meals to clients and staff and the setting and clearing of tables

  • To assist in the preparation and serving of beverages to clients and staff

  • To clean the cafeteria area (floors, cookers etc)
