-
Aromi is an independent, family-run Sicilian café and bakery group founded in Cambridge. Drawing on the founders’ family bakery and café heritage in Sicily, Aromi specialises in high-quality, made-from-scratch Sicilian food served in an informal café setting.
-
Aromi focuses on Sicilian food together with other generic Italian dishes. This includes traditional recipes, ingredients and flavours, as well as a strong emphasis on food made from scratch. The business is independently owned and operated, not part of a national or international chain.
-
Aromi’s core offer includes Sicilian-inspired bakery, pizza, gelato and barista-made coffee. The menu varies slightly by location and season, but all sites share the same food philosophy and quality standards.
-
Aromi currently has three locations in Cambridge:
Bene’t Street – our original café in the historic city centre
Fitzroy Street – a daytime café serving pizza, bakery, coffee and gelato
Peas Hill – home of Maccaruna, our fresh pasta conceptFull addresses and opening hours can be found on the Find Us page of our website.
-
Our Bene’t Street and Peas Hill cafes are located in the historic centre of Cambridge, close to King’s College and the Market Square.
-
Aromi cafés operate primarily on a walk-in basis and we do not usually take reservations. Simply come along and our team will find you a table as soon as possible. At busy times there may be a short wait. The exception is at Bene’t Street, where you can book a table from 18:00.
